Today I’m sharing my new artwork a cartoon drawing of the character ( Taz ) created in a traditional hand-drawn style using pencil. I began the process with an initial pencil sketch to define the overall shape and movement then later moved on to black ink to finalize the lines and give the character greater clarity.
In this drawing I focused on highlighting the aggressive and mischievous side of the character through sharp facial expressions especially the angry eyes and the open mouth showing the teeth and tongue which gives it a playful tone mixed with a touch of fierceness The bent body posture and arm movement were added to create a sense of motion and energy.
I adopted a simple cartoon style with limited pencil coloring focusing on shading to show volume and depth without overloading the drawing with details. I chose this approach because I enjoy clear artwork that relies on strong lines and expressive power rather than complexity.
This piece represents a personal artistic experiment and an attempt to present a well-known cartoon character with a different spirit and a unique handmade touch.
Hoy comparto con ustedes mi nueva obra artística, un dibujo caricaturesco del personaje ( Taz ) realizado de forma tradicional a mano con lápiz Comencé el proceso con un boceto inicial a lápiz para definir la forma general y el movimiento, y luego pasé a la tinta negra para fijar las líneas y dar mayor claridad al personaje.
En este dibujo me enfoqué en resaltar el lado agresivo y travieso del personaje a través de expresiones faciales marcadas especialmente los ojos enfadados y la boca abierta que muestra los dientes y la lengua lo que le da un tono divertido mezclado con un toque de ferocidad. La postura encorvada del cuerpo y el movimiento de los brazos se añadieron para crear una sensación de dinamismo y energía.
Adopté un estilo caricaturesco sencillo con un uso limitado del color a lápiz centrándome en el sombreado para mostrar volumen y profundidad sin recargar el dibujo con demasiados detalles. Elegí este enfoque porque me gustan las obras claras que se apoyan en la fuerza de la línea y la expresión más que en la complejidad.
Esta obra representa una experiencia artística personal y un intento de presentar un personaje animado conocido con un espíritu diferente y un toque artesanal único.
