Religion is what we practice to serve God in a unique style that pleases him. But we must always know that religion can not save anyone from going to hell. Salvation does not have anything to do with religion. Salvation comes from God, it does not depend on how often you go to church. For salvation to come to you God watches the heart but not how often you go to church. A person can be very religious and still not truly trust God. What God wants is a real relationship with Him, not just outward religious activities.
We get salvation through the faith we have in God and his mercy upon us. Is not about how many times we go to church everyday.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing” (Ephesians 2:8).
This clearly teaches us that salvation is not gotten through religion but by the faith we have in Christ Jesus. True faith may express itself through worship and fellowship, yet it is personal trust in God that brings salvation, not religion alone.
