Not to enter that woods, not with tales muttered like warnings and signs hammered crooked to trees.Though peaceful and almost pleasant, quiet items learn how to deceive.Every sound felt watched; light faded and leaves dulled footfalls. I realized then that sometimes risk invites rather than always shouts.
The forest did not pursue me.Confident that curiosity is stronger than fear, it waited patient as a held breath.
I turned back, not brave but simply alert.Certain places are instruction rather than destinations.Survival is a silent wisdom, opting absence over evidence.Except the uncommon relief of hearing a voice say stop, I left with nothing to present. Some boundaries help you to live long enough to develop; not all boundaries hold riches.
