There's zero common sense. We're talking about salamander reserves where let's see response. OK, can I just a very quick point on that? It's it's it's also corruption.
There's so many scams going on. And I'll give you just one example, but it's a really common one in terms of holding everything up from anything happening, taking years and millions. It's not like what I saw the other day.
She tried to get an extension for a restaurant patio from 30 to 50. Some of the permits took her six years and a million dollars in fees and, you know, because environmental. And the big scam that goes on is these environmental climate activist groups.
They put their own people inside of the agencies and they sue. They file lawsuits against the government and then their people inside the government settle. And you end up putting everything in a more extreme direction.
That is a really, really common tactic. And so once you expose all this, you've got to really kick out all those people. And that's the power that you have as governor, which is where I'm confident, not just that, you know, I can win.
It's going to be hard, but I know I can do it once I'm there because I really understand how government works. And I've seen it from the inside. And I have that business mindset.
I know that I can make things happen, but I just want to say thank you to all of you. It's been great. I've loved it.
It's fantastic. Let's do it again soon. Thanks, everyone.
Talk soon, Steve. Appreciate you coming by. We'll continue the conversation about California and you're always welcome.
