Hola amigos de @MoviesAndTvShows espero que les vaya muy bien este año que acaba de comenzar, pues el 2023 es un año en el cual tendremos el gusto de ver series y peliculas de grandes empresas y universos que queremos se sigan expandiendo.

Personalmente comence el 2023 descubriendo buenas series y peliculas, que si bien se estrenaron en el 2022, no fue hasta comienzos de este año que tuve el placer de verlas, y tengo que admitir que el Gato con Botas 2: El ultimo Deseo me hizo volver a amar a Dreamworks luego de tantas decepciones, pero mejor les cuento desde el principio no?

Sinceramente desde que vi Shrek 2, Dreamworks se convirtió en los creadores de mis películas favoritas: Megamente, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, etc. pero conforme pasaba el tiempo me di cuenta que con cada película que veía de ellos había menos emoción y calidad, era todo tan predecible, o quizás sencillo, pensaba que era yo que me estaba acostumbrando a las pelis y ya se me hacían aburridas pero resulta que efectivamente gracias a los críticos, me di cuenta que la calidad en sus obras había decaído.

La primera película del Gato con Botas me gusto, no fue una de mis favoritas pero realmente me gusto, aunque admito que no esperaba una secuela, mucho menos después lo que hicieron con Shrek 4, hundiendo a la franquicia aun mas.

Pero NO fue asi, desde los primeros minutos esta nueva película del Gato con Botas me enamoro, les Explico:

Las películas de Dreamworks a mi parecer tenían algo muy especial que era desarrollar a los personajes involucrados en sus películas de una manera peculiar, Shrek 2, Megamente y Como Entrenar a tu Dragon, nos demostraron tener una trama sencilla pero muy entretenida de desarrollar las tramas, pero eso se fue perdiendo luego de su época dorada ( obvio, esto es mi opinión) pero en esta nueva entrega de nuestro increíble Gato, volvemos a ver ese desarrollo profundo y emocional que era el sello de sus películas.

SPOILER ALERT : ASI QUE NO DIGAN QUE NO SE LOS ADVERTI

Nuestro Gato ya no esta en la misma situación en la que siempre estuvo, al estar viviendo su ultima vida, lo cual lo fuerza a ser algo que no es, y a experimentar sentimientos que durante sus anteriores aventuras no había sentido:

• Miedo
• Arrepentimiento
• Soledad
• Vacío y Monotonía

Eso sumado a los antagonistas que nos plantea esta pelicula nos pone en una situación en la que vemos que nuestro protagonista esta forzado a elegir un camino en el cual se juega el todo por el todo y volver a ser ese "HEROE" que una vez fue.

Vemos el regreso de personajes de peliculas anteriores tanto de Shrek( La familia de Osos) tanto como a Kitty "Patitas Suaves" de la misma pelicula de El Gato con Botas Original, aunque en esta entrega el personaje que mas brilla a mi parecer es PERRITO que con su carisma y caracter bondadoso se gana el corazon de todos.

Esta pelicula tiene una animacion muy peculiar, cuando la vi automaticamente la relacione con Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse pues es el mismo estilo y admito que me encanta. La acción y los chistes son frescos y sinceramente me senti como todo un niño viendo la pelicula, no hubo un solo momento en el que senti que el chiste fuera pesado o forzado y las peleas son MUY BUENAS.

A ver, en esta entrega tenemos a 3 tipos de villanos a mi parecer, los circunstanciales, los esenciales y los complementarios. Durante toda la aventura se nos presenta a Ricitos y los osos como "villanos" pero solo porque tambien quieren el deseo, eso lo llamo circunstancial.

Luego vemos a "El Cazarrecompensas" que persigue a nuestro protagonista y que en esencia es el verdadero villano al ser el origen de los miedos de nuestro Gato con Botas, a el cual tarde o temprano tendrá que enfrentarse.

Y por ultimo tenemos a Jack Horner un personaje que a mi parecer es malo porque si, jajaja, no le conseguí ninguna motivación mas que estar allí y agilizar y complicar la trama, pero aunque lo veo de esta manera me parece un recurso muy bien utilizado para hacer la historia mas llevadera y mas entretenida.

Hace mucho tiempo que una pelicula animada no me gustaba tanto, he visto muchas peliculas animadas en los ultimos años, y debo decir que ninguna me hizo sentir tan bien al terminar de verla, y desear que sigan sacando peliculas de este Gato tan genial.

Espero de todo corazón que Dreamworks vuelva a brillar y vengan películas tan espectaculares como esta y la animación siga siendo un genero que crezca a algo mas grande aún, si es que se puede.

Si ustedes no la han visto, es el momento, no se arrepentiran, eso si, si son nostalgicos como yo preparence para el final de la pelicula porque les pegara muy duro jajajaj .

I liked the first Puss in Boots movie, it wasn't one of my favorites but I really liked it, although I admit that I didn't expect a sequel, much less after what they did with Shrek 4, sinking the franchise even more.

But NOT it was like that, from the first minutes I fell in love with this new Puss in Boots movie, I explain:

The Dreamworks films, in my opinion, had something very special which was to develop the characters involved in their films in a peculiar way, Shrek 2, Megamind and How to Train Your Dragon, they showed us that they had a simple but very entertaining plot to develop the plots. , but that was lost after its golden age (obviously, this is my opinion) but in this new installment of our incredible Cat, we return to see that deep and emotional development that was the hallmark of his films.

SPOILER ALERT : SO DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU

Our cat is no longer in the same situation in which he always was, living his last life, which forces him to be something that he is not, and to experience feelings that during his previous adventures he had not felt :

• Fear
• regret
• Loneliness
• Emptiness and Monotony

That, added to the antagonists that this film presents us, puts us in a situation in which we see that our protagonist is forced to choose a path in which he gambles everything for everything and to return to being that "HEROE" That was once.

We see the return of characters from previous films of both Shrek (The Bear Family) as well as Kitty "Soft Paws" from the same film of Puss in Boots Original, although in this installment the character that shines the most in my opinion is PUPPY who with his charisma and kind character wins the hearts of all.

This movie has a very peculiar animation, when I saw it I automatically related it to Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse because it is the same style and I admit that I love it. The action and the jokes are fresh and I honestly felt like a whole kid watching the movie, there was not a single moment in which I felt that the joke was heavy or forced and the fights are VERY GOOD.

Let's see, in this installment we have 3 types of villains in my opinion, the circumstantial, the essential and the complementary. Throughout the adventure, Goldilocks and the bears are presented as "villains" but only because they also want the wish, I call that circumstantial.

Then we see "The Bounty Hunter" who chases our protagonist and who is essentially the true villain as he is the origin of the fears of our Puss in Boots, which sooner or later he will have to face.

And finally we have Jack Horner, a character that in my opinion is bad because yes, hahaha, I didn't get him any motivation other than being there and speeding up and complicating the plot, but although I see it this way, it seems to me a very well used resource. to make the story more bearable and more entertaining.

It's been a long time since I didn't like an animated movie so much, I've seen many animated movies in the last few years, and I must say that none of them made me feel so good when I finished watching it, and I want them to keep making movies of this great Cat.

I wholeheartedly hope that Dreamworks shines again and movies as spectacular as this one come along and animation continues to be a genre that grows into something even bigger, if it can.

If you haven't seen it, now is the time, you won't regret it, yes, if you are nostalgic like me, prepare for the end of the movie because it will hit you very hard hahaha.
