In this post I will share my experience when visiting a very popular building in Aceh, namely the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. If we travel to the city of Banda Aceh, we will be able to easily find this mosque building because its location is very strategic, namely right in the center of Banda Aceh city. As we already know, the mosque is a place of worship for Muslims, but this is not the main topic.
I have visited this mosque several times, the beauty of the mosque building can be seen from the unique and elegant architectural aspects of the building, and it has a magnificent dome, will the view look different at night.? I think so, but that's only in terms of the atmosphere. The beauty of this mosque building is still clearly visible even at night, with so many lights shining on it that it creates a bright and elegant light.
It turns out that visiting this place at night is not as bad as imagined. The atmosphere at night is clearly quieter than during the day, the noise from vehicles is not too much, the calmness of the night breeze makes the body feel lighter and fresher. Many people visit this mosque and everyone has their own goals, some want to worship, rest, travel, and just to see and admire everything that this building has to offer.

The courtyard of this mosque is also very spacious, even some of the floors have been covered with ceramics, so that people can sit quietly and this is also related to cleanliness.
What is even more interesting is that this mosque has six electric umbrellas in the yard and next to the mosque building, the height of each umbrella pole also varies, but generally has a height of around 15 to 20 meters. These umbrellas also have many functions, one of which is a place to shelter and to beautify the mosque building, especially when the umbrellas are opened.
Right in the front yard of the mosque building we can also find a rectangular pool, this pool looks ordinary during the day but is different at night, this pool has been equipped with colorful lights so that every splash of water will produce several beautiful colors, and it is a beautiful sight to enjoy.
This mosque also has a fairly large garden so that it functions as a resting place while looking at the green natural scenery and feeling a different sensation, even though the mosque building is in the middle of the city center, the atmosphere inside clearly feels different.
Cleanliness is very important, the lush grass looks like a very comfortable natural carpet, at first I thought this was synthetic grass but it turns out this is real grass (I am amazed). In this park there are also several chairs and tables. If we visit this mosque for tourism purposes, it is very suitable to visit with family
