I truly believe that A family who explore and shares adventure together, stays close forever. 😅 Do you believe it too? Hehe
Hello to all family and friends here on hive, most especially on this wonderful community! I hope everyone is doing good especially this season.
It's been a while and I'm back to share one of our family happenings and this is our family reunion held at Dalawa, Alilem, Ilocos Sure. My family and I attended our first ever grand reunion, the trip was 8hrs but still it is the best trip and reunion ever. Why? You may know it once you finish reading my blog. Lol!
After spending two wonderful days at our family reunion in Dalawa, Alilem, Ilocos Sur, it was finally time to bid farewells to our relatives who attended the reunion. While leaving was a little bittersweet, we were excited to head home, but our journey had a fun detour planned. Yes we planned our trip before attending the reunion since we know that we are going to pass by the beach in La Union. On the way back, we passed through La Union, a province famous for its beautiful beaches and resorts. There was no way we could pass by without making a stop, even if it was just for a few hours. Hehe After all, when you have the chance to enjoy the sea with your family, you don’t let it pass! Am I right? Hehe
We took a short break at one of the beaches, and that was Amirah's bamboo resort. We spent a few hours swimming, laughing, and just enjoying the moment together with family and cousins. It was such a refreshing experience, especially after a long reunion filled with catching up and bonding. Our journey home was almost eight hours long because we had to pass through both Pangasinan and La Union. While the drive was tiring, every moment was worth it. Being able to connect with relatives from far away and explore new places together made it unforgettable.
What made this stop even more special was that it marked our family’s very first time at the beach together, after nearly 30 years! Nyahaha. Yes, since we are living in the mountains of Nueva Vizcaya, we never experienced swimming at the beach but we enjoy swimming at the rivers and falls, because that's what we have on the mountains. Everyone was thrilled, from the youngest to the oldest, and we made sure to make the most of every moment. Of course, no family outing is complete without plenty of photos to remember this wonderful memories. Laughter, splashes, and happy faces filled those few hours we spent in the water.
After our beach time, we decided to go home and continue our trip back home, finally we arrived around 11 PM. Even though we were all exhausted from the long drive, our hearts were full and happy for those memories we just created. This family reunion will always be one of the most memorable we’ve attended not just for the gathering itself, but also because it gave us a chance to make a new, shared memory as a family at the beach. Despite the long travel and tiring day, the smiles and laughter made everything worthwhile. And this is the most important memories we have together as a family that I will treasure the most.
That's all about our family's quick stopover at the beach but it created memories that will last forever. Thank you so much for taking time to read my simple family blog. I hope you have a good time and happy memories with your family too. Again always remember to keep smiling and stay safe!
Mabuhay!
