It's very, very frustrating. I'm getting word now. I'm getting word that they have This is from somebody. Chief Trump is on stage.
Actually, he says I'm reading that they took out the no tax on tips and the revised BBB and now it's a reduction cap at 25k. Is that true?
Anybody know I did not see that So I know that they did that with with the Social Security So it went from no Social Security tax to a reduction in Social Security tax That would make sense if they did the same thing.
So no, no the note So that's like this is like I don't know bro the no tax on tips was a sunset clause and the no tax on overtime was a Percentage essentially Understand this It's a gazy math, but here here it is Let's say you make $10 an hour and then once you hit the threshold of 40 hours a week Qualify for time and a half which is 15 an hour, right? You're not going to be taxed on the additional $5 But you will be taxed on the $10.
So it's literally just that The time and a half to half part of it, that's not back That's how this the wording was written in the Senate. They completely modified it from what the house said So understand that the no tax on time on overtime is not on the entirety of the overtime It's only on the additional pay per hour, but not the base pay.
Does that make sense folks that that's how no Sounds like some bullshit.
