Do they do they have sponsors in the Senate, you know, on the flip side of it? It was just introduced into the House. So I don't think they've gone that far yet. Now.
Yeah. I mean, 2023, George, did they have a similar bill introduced on the Senate? It never it never made it that far. But there was talk.
There was talk with. You know what? I think it never came out. I'd rather not put it out there because the person didn't commit.
But there were talks with a senator at the time, but it just never advanced. Yeah. Well, I think the deal is with this thing is that it's just better for us to kill it in committee.
So, you know, that's my mission now is to kill this thing with fire in committee. So, you know, that's that's the intention that we have with that. But, you know, there's this general push for amnesty that has started showing up in D.C. over the past.
You know, we've covered it in here a little bit. But there's been you know, you can see the rumblings. And it was, you know, at first we were wondering if it was coming out of the Rawlins camp, if it was something to do with the farmers specifically.
But, you know, it seems that there's just a general push for amnesty. But this bill, the problem I have that is that even mentioning amnesty while we're in the middle of trying to do all these deportations, I just find that problematic in general. You know, I want the messaging to remain.
If you're here illegally, that there is a skeleton, someone posting skeleton memes on the DHS, you know, Twitter page that is going to terrify you into the fact that you need to be deported immediate. So, you know, I think that needs to that needs to remain the messaging. So hopefully we can keep that messaging up.
