I am in the person of Umu Haani Sayawu from the Northern Region of Ghana. I love exploring, admiring, and appreciating nature so I have been able to visit some parts of the country like Techiman, Sunyani, Kumasi, Damango, Accra, and Kintampo, just to mention a few. Some were Educational Tours and others were just to see some tourist sites and appreciate nature. I am privileged for that opportunity and hope to explore more.
I started my basic school in Tamale at Glory International School, I then moved to Faith Junior High School also in Tamale where I wrote my Basic Education Certificate Examination. I then proceeded to Tamale Islamic Science Senior High School where I had my secondary education and I am currently a student at the University for Development Studies.I am a hardworking level 300 Biotechnology and Molecular Biology student at the University for Development Studies, Nyankpala campus. I am an optimistic, responsible, social person and confident with my thinking analysis that I can convince people with my points. I am self-reliant, well behaved and above all a person of strong character. I am ambitious, driven, thrive on challenges, and constantly set goals for myself, so I have something to strive towards. Not comfortable with settling, always looking for opportunities to do better and achieve more greatness. I love volunteering, and impacting others, and been impacted on and also love to socialize and network.
I have been privileged to be part of the Savanna Women Integration and Development Agency Ghana (SWIDA-GH) where we are assigned mentors to be mentored on specific areas of interest and in the end also give back to society by mentoring our younger ones. Also being passionate about volunteerism has given me the chance to join many Non-Governmental Organizations where we go to less or under privileged communities and donate clothes,food stuffs and also learning materials, we also educate them especially thewomen and young girls on personal hygiene. We also visit orphanages and widows to donate to them clothes, food stuffs and learning materials as well.
