Introdution
Yesterday while I was working on first part of About Polish I was trying to write my post in distinctive way, based on own experience and knowledge. I focused on myself to show everything from my point of view (as person who have been learning new language).
Trip to Egypt
Seven years ago for the first time I have traveled to Asia, Egypt with my family. It was my first flight. After I left the plane I was going to go to hotel. Because of I had all-inclusive reservation I could eat and drink everything I wanted. My story according to difficulties caused by similarities in Polish and English but the result was ridiculous. On the first day my father was not confident enough to try local food and drinks so he decided to order liqquor. Issue was my father asked for
drink
For us that was simple- He would like to drink vodka with coke. As it was bright for us as waiter had some troubles to understand what he really want. After he had brought coke, we started to explain one more time. The problem was drink word in most of cases is used as verb, not as noun. Although troubles finally he gave us what we want. It is important to remember that something what is clear for you, would not be clear for someone because of variety of words mean.
