Unfortunately, we have a lot of porn on SteemIt. Whilst this might not seem a problem to some, it will no doubt cause a problem for SteemIt’s reputation in the long run. It should also be added that it is very easy for anyone to access this material, including children. This is unlawful in most countries.

Other problems include the quality of the material and the effect it has on the reward pool.
Do we really women who just show a picture of themselves with their t-shirt pulled up exposing their breasts with a short text? Is this really what we want on SteemIt? Is this what we want the world to see? Aren’t upvotes on such material harmful to women in general?

(I don’t usually use vulgar language in my posts but, as I have seen it used by the BullyBot and Anti-self-upvote lobby, I feel I am justified. )
Do we really want copied commercial content in the form of GIFs as an example of what material is most profitable? Isn’t it just the patriarchy just allowing itself to do what it wants in the name of freedom?

Is this what we want for equality and women’s rights in general? This fantasy of, “I’ll get my tits out for you. I’m just a piece of meat”? Isn't it this kind of mentality that leads to sexual assaults against women?
So, what's more important, someone upvoting themselves, or someone denigrating women and their role in society?
Let’s get together and BAN IT WITH A BOT!
(Just like the BullyBot project is going to do to people wo upvote their own content.
