I don't enjoy the anger and irritation at all. If I did I wouldn't waste time explaining what I'm doing. I'm trying to increase the health and growth of the Steem network. As I see it, the anger and irritation is not caused by my actions, it's a reaction by some who fail to understand my actions despite my efforts.

I have nothing personally against the authors of posts I downvote. I'm just countering specific posts I see as destructive by downvoting them. I don't downvote other content by an author to punish an unrelated action, even in response to those who attack me in that way.
