Traveling out of the country in a small car means you must pack light. Accompanied by a large dog and a friend I'm picking up on the way, I will have to pack lighter than usual. I am trying to keep it to 1 box, a computer bag and two pillows.
The camera equipment I have is probably the most luxury and waste of space I have. I don't do much with the video equipment I have but I'm hoping I will find motivation to use it every week. This will be the 1st thing I cut if I really need the space.
My 4K 32" monitor is very important for my online productivity and will be doubling as entertainment if I need it. In Acapulco there is always something to do so I rarely watched any movies or TV.
The fuzzy king sized blanket necessary in my opinion. If I find a place high up on the mountaintops again this will come in real handy at night. It dips down into the 70's up there and I mostly leave the fan blowing on me to keep the mosquitoes off of me.
Random stuff for security and mixing smoothies. I set up perimeter alarms to alert me if there is activity on my property. Mexico isn't very dangerous but it is always to good to know if someone is trespassing.
The most surprisingly handy thing I have needed is a wifi extender. I find myself living in neighborhoods that don't have much internet access and this antenna can reach up to 500 yards. I couldn't get internet last time I was there and I used a system very much like this to get it from a neighbor 300 yards up the hill.
...And finally my bed. I sleep in a queen size hammock and blow a fan under me to stay cool and comfortable at night or anytime I am resting.
Come see me and Anarchapulco and Anarchoforko. This will probably be the most fun you will have all year.
Bye for now...
