Here is a sum up of 300 words story in Acehnese Language above😊. My Hubby is not feeling well today, he gets caught by cold and fever last night. So, to make him feels better, I cooked the yellow spicy rice and spicy fried chicken for our lunch. This time, though I still have saffron, but turmeric powder is a better option at this time.

To make the yellow spicy rice, all you need are rice, turmeric powder, thin coconut's milk, cardamom, cloves, star anise, bayleaf and kaffir lime leaves (I forgot to add lemongrass😁) and cook it in the rice cooker or cook the rice and all the spices till hal cooked before you steam it up.

I believe that yellow spicy rice is a good medicine for my hubby low stamina .right now. I seldom cook this rice except when I think it's what I need for our health. In My hometown, Aceh, this yellow rice always available at night time in the food courts around the city. This special meal also serves when there's some special events in the community or family. The best accompany foir this yellow spicy rice are fried tempe, potato fried cake, chilli sauces or fried duck and chicken.

When I checked on the fridge, I saw frozen durian from the other day😊 and I remember that I bought a litre of black sticky rice. So, right after haVing our lunch, I executed my favourite's dessert😊 black sticky rice and duria's compote.

Well.. I've been posting about how to make it few weeks ago for #fruitsandveggiesmonday, i was using the white sticky rice before and this time with the black one😊 but the taste still the same.

That's how I enjoy my day today😊 My Beloved one is feeling better now (when I typed this), already get his second cups of coffee, enjoy the dessert too. I hope he'll get well thoroughly tomorrow😊
