This mosque is a mosque of pride of citizens in Banda Aceh City, Aceh, tip of Sumatra. Why is that?
Because the mosque which was rehabilitated post tsunami is the mosque capital of Banda Aceh. The mosque, originally named Lampriet Mosque. This is because the mosque is located in Lampriet area or the name of the village where the mosque is located.
When the tsunami hit Aceh in late 2004, the mosque was also affected by the tsunami.
Through the help of the State of Oman, this mosque was re-built and performed more majestic. Because of the services of the people of Oman, the name of the mosque was later changed to Oman Mosque.
The existence of this Oman mosque, now a tourist attraction. The mosque is increasingly exotix. #ksab
