1.4 Aim of the Study
The researcher want to present additional contribution for improving the quality of teaching listening. Probably, next studies of other researchers will present more perfect contribution.
Theoretically, we are English teacher who do not used English as mother tongue language but we serve English as Foreign Language (EFL) have some responsibilities toward developing students listening skill. The writer will write introduction to be professional teacher in teaching the listening for the beginner because of the following reason. First, non – native teacher must understand the important role which listening rules in language learning process to facilitate learning. Second, they must pay attention that listening has complex nature process. By knowing this, they can provide their students with appropriate material of listening experiences. Finally, they must know the way of listening skill develops in students. By knowing these issues, it will provide the teacher some ways to raise students engaging of listening activities given students’ level of proficiency.
Practically, the result of pivotal role that listening plays in the language learning process through my thesis is going to give additional contribution to the teachers, the school boys and girls, the school, and other researchers.
