Dizziness after taking allupurinol medication
Uric acid is the result of the formation of protein (purine). The more protein consumed will lead to higher levels of uric acid in the blood. Foods such as brains, intestines, lymph, and other animal foods are very high in protein.
Uric acid is basically required by the body and is produced by the body. in people taking allupurinol, the protein consumed is blocked by allupurinol so it does not turn into uric acid.
If it is not suited to allupurinol then the drug can be stopped, and my suggestion to change the lifestyle and diet that is currently done.
Eat more vegetables, drink enough water and regular exercise.
In addition to the above foods, the following meals should be avoided:
Meat (beef, poultry, shrimp)
Nuts,
Asparagus,
Spinach,
Cassava leaves,
Kale,
Melinjo.
