It's Sunday, but the sun didn't shine today.
Drove out of the city with Hazel again, as every Sunday. We stopped in the woods and set out for a nice walk on a grey day.
It started raining 5 minutes into the walk, but we had our coats on and decided to not let ourselves get deterred.
We made it all the way out to the lake. Lake is a bit of an overstatement, but it's s a pretty big pond for sure.
As far as I know, long ago, this used to be a quarry, but they penetrated all the way down to below the ground water level and the whole thing started filling up with water. That might be a rumor, though, I never fact-checked.
The water is very fresh and always clean. The water lillies are a telltale sign for that. This is an awesome place to go for a swim during summer.
I had my wellies on, so I was able to step a bit into the water and take an epic title shot for today's 
But as it kept drizzling down, we didn't go much further after that and headed back home instead.
