My Actifit Report Card: February 12 2020

I had another good day.

At work, I did mostly Slimline doors. These are getting more and more popular.

They take a long time to make because they have to be cutout and then everything is milled step by step. Making components for regular doors is much faster because we have shaper tools that do each side in one step. You can’t do it that way with the lock stiles on Slimline doors because of their odd shape.

Anyway, that’s mostly what I worked on during my shift and probably will be what I’ll work on for a while. We’ve had many orders for those types of doors, and they take a lot of time to make. I’m pretty much the only one who works on these because I’m familiar with aspects that are particular to these doors.
