Today I ran around the airport as usual and got in my 10k.
Afterward I went home a little early because today my town celebrated National Night Out. There was grilling, icecream, jump houses, music, and booths with some local info.
Then a helicopter landed, and they let us sit in it!
After things wound down a bit they held a raffle giving away kids' bikes. One of Aedan's friends won! Awesome!
And then as it got dark they brought out the giant inflatable movie screen! We watched Small Foot. Everyone really seemed to enjoy it, and all the adults laughed at the sneaky adult humor.
Then it was all over. We helped pick up the trash left around and went home. After a nice shower, I'm ready for bed. Good night everyone!
