Today was a travel day with walking in between
It's my nephew's birthday party tomorrow! the big 4!
when we come down to San Diego it's like coming home every time!
Not only is our family here but out last place that we called home for 18 years is there.
Soaking up the time with our babies is always amazing!!! we can't get enough! they are pure love and energy and hearing TOTAHHHHHHH when I walk in the door will never get old!
(Totah is how my niece and nephew say тётя =Russian for Aunt)
among all the other cultures that we are...my sister married into the Latin culture! so add that to the mix!!! the kids have started to think it's funny to put a Hispanic spin on a Russian word and sometimes tease me by calling me Totie! (I can't write it the way it sounds coming from their mouth... but suffice it say ..it's hilarious and adorable!)
as we start to drive away from our mountains...
and approach the So Cal mountains...
I find myself staring out the window, reminiscing.
It isn't long before it's time to eat, and nothing can compare to the food that you've loved for almost half your life.
Trust and believe there will be a LOT of good Mexican food consumed from now until Tuesday, but today? mmmmmmm
Korean.
(My signal is so bad right here.. taking too long to upload more pics so I'll try to edit tomorrow!)
here is a video of this thing of beauty! comes.out boiling hot, then drop an egg in if you choose (I do!) stir and eat up! mmmmm so.so good!
feels good to be "home" ... be back to my other home on Tuesday night!
oh and here are some steps too! ( and yep! still sore from that new HIIT workout hehehe. nuts!!!)
