Today we had another fabulous excursion. Departing from our "base" of Santo Stefano d'Aveto we crossed the village of Torrio entering the province of Piacenza. We have arrived Until the slopes of Mount Crociglia, we have parked the cars and headed towards the Tribolata Valley, a basin born of ancient volcanic eruptions and then developed over the centuries. The journey takes place almost entirely in the woods where we met the cows grazing in several points along the route.
Part of the journey has some somewhat more complicated descents: 7-10 years olds need a little help but, if they are used to trekking, they can complete the journey without any particular problems. Once out of the woods, the view becomes truly spectacular; another 10 minutes and you finally arrive at your destination.
Eating on the slopes of this mountain is rewarding and puts you in peace: a smooth surface that starts from the top and reaches the meadow !! A truly unforgettable day !!!!
