10 days until the race !
Hi guys, today I ran 8 km and it was pretty hard to be honest. I think that waking up at 5 and not having the best nights sleep is not a good combination for a strong run.
Around 80 days ago I decided to run a half-marathon (21km) before that I had not run for 7-8 years. So I downloaded Nike Run Club, set it up and started a very intense schedule in order to prepare. Unfortunately 1 month ago I got an injury and it prevented me from training. I missed a lot of essential runs but still I will do my best to run the marathon.
The difference is that I don't have a goal of under two hours now, it has changed to finishing the race without further injuring my feet :)
Unfortunately I have a pretty persistent problem with my actifit tracker on my phone. It is not possible to have 7k steps for 8km + a pretty long warm up + 30 mins of walking. I hope I find a solution to it.
