Went to town this morning to take care of some tasks and shopping. One key point was getting soil to pot up my avocado tree. It is a lot happier now with more space for its toes.
I cleaned up the yard under the tree I am bucking this weekend. We are expecting snow Saturday and I am climbing Sunday. Good thing it will warm up.
This afternoon a little thunderstorm rolled through and dropped rain on its ass end which allowed the sun to shine under its skirt. I got a full view of that luscious wet cloud ass.
A bit later I made 3 batches of kahlua. Jim Beam bourbon, Kirkland Silver Tequila, and a Brandy. Mix with sugar, coffee, plus others and let rest for a month, then drink.
BEST kahlua EVER is a properly aged, small batch, filtered liquor. I have found that 8 years is about the prime age for an aged kahlua. They can go to 20+ years and still be palatable, bit under 10 is prime.
Tomorrow I get grain and clean more for bucking the tree.
