Yesterday was a bit of a wash. I took J to school in the morning then spent the bulk of the morning futzing around inside. At 11:15 I went to pick up J from school as they had an early out to begin their 4 day weekend then at 12:15 
In the afternoon I worked on my New Throwing Axe, cutting the handle to length and testing it out with a number of throws. I have the axe handle cut to 12 inches long which makes the whole axe a bit over 14 inches in length. This gives me a throw of about 12 to 14 foot distance or 1 rotation and just about 20 feet for 2 rotations.
After getting my axe setup I spent a little time working on my knife throwing. I have been playing with my technique trying to build the most comfortable an effective throw, but with my new sets of knives arriving today I will have to do a little readjusting to my throw since they will be weighted different than my current knives.
