Twas the night before The Feast and all through the house all the creatures were stirring, maybe even a mouse!
The carrots are peeled and the cranberries are jellied, tomorrow we will all have full bellies!

Long day at work today! Lots of pain, lots of craziness. Right after work I ran into a coworker who lives further west than I do so he gave me a ride, thank you dude!
At the Boy's.and Girl's Club, the director of the branch my kids go to pulled me into his office and told me a couple of families are selected each year to be adopted for Christmas. He went on and on about how sweet and silly and awesome 
I bawled my freaking eyes out. He took down a list of their sizes and needs as well as wants. He even asked if there was anything we need for the house. I told him towels. 💙💙💙
I have been so anxious, feeling like I wouldn't be able to get them anything this year. Not even Santa. I'm going to be late on December rent, third month in a row. I've been feeling like a damned failure.
He saved me. He's giving my babies a Christmas and I fucking bawled like a baby. Thank you, Boy's and Girl's Club. Thank you.
And I had mentioned we will not be having much of a Thanksgiving. But we scored an invite to 
It's 9:16 at night here and we just got home 15 minutes ago. We went to the store to get carrots, cranberries, asparagus and some other things to bring tomorrow. I'm so excited!
I'll be up peeling and cleaning and chopping and preparing for a long while more and I will probably gain a few hundred more steps. But! When I'm done I'm not going to want to post, so, this number will work just fine.
