Basically, you collect cards with monsters that have certain attributes and we fight each other.

The first thing you do is to login with your Steemit account. Then you can buy your first pack cards , which it is called “Starter Pack” and has 30 cards.
You can buy with fiat money or crypto. Obviously, Steem and SBD are included. This is my collection , nothing to really brag about , but I am a totally newbie.
If you click on a card you can see the fighting attributes of each monster. Combine same monster cards to “level up”.
There is an open market where you can sell or buy cards.
I think this is where the value lies. Early adopters can acquire rare cards for cheap and sell them at a profit.
You can also buy packs of cards which are called “Booster Packs”. It’s a nice way to spend your SBD.
Buying a pack of five random cards adds to the excitement and fun of the game.
So , here it is. My first touch with the Steem Monsters game. I tried to battle but my monster are too weak and got my ass kicked real hard.
I think I will buy few booster packs and try again after Steem Fest.
Overall seems a very well thought game with a very cool design. It will be one of the dapps that will bring tremendous value to the Steem blockchain.
