In this last part of my trip to the Lake Margaret hydroelectric power system in the west coast of Tasmania Australia.
Here we have a look inside the power station the total generating capacity of 8.4 megawatts from 7 generators.
There is a little town built just around 100m from the power station to house workers and there families. These houses have not been used for some 30 years or so. They are now in a very sad state though some are having restoration work started mainly re stumping to stabilize them. With further works to be complete later.
