I'm into week 4 of my return to going to the gym on a routine. My goal at this point is to go at least 3 times a week and to move my body. That's it.
Once I feel like I need more I will bump up the target to 4 days and create a more structured routine. Feel like that might be a few weeks away but that's ok. My long term goal on this is to sustain this indefinitely. So slow and steady is the game plan.
Anyhow, today I walked the treadmill for about 25 minutes then did assisted pull ups, body weight dips, and regular push-ups 3 sets each until failure. Then sauna, shower, and off to work. Feels great.
