I went on a lovely walk today in the Minnesota college town of Mankato. My daughter goes to St. Cloud (which is an hour north of us) and her rugby team played Mankato (which is an hour and a half south of us), so we’re putting in a lot of miles this weekend.
I love small towns. Mankato is quite charming. I really enjoyed strolling around campus. For this walk, though, I also walked down a long tree lined boulevard, captured pictures of fall foliage and other scenery, and really enjoyed the cool damp weather after some rain.
In addition to strolling, of course, I watched my daughter’s game. It's not the best picture, but that is her tackling a much bigger girl. She is 120 pounds of fearlessness!
