We woke up today to discover the gas cylinder was empty, it meant we couldn’t cook anything. When we’re in the UK we don’t worry about the gas because it is supplied to the house through pipes which are connected to the gas company and they bill us for gas used. Where I live in Nigeria we have to buy gas cylinder, take them to the gas station for fill and you have to repeat this anytime the gas cylinder goes empty.
This is actually a booming business now because it is probable the cheapest source of getting heating for cooking. Kerosene is way too expensive, electricity isn’t constant and is becoming expensive too. Firewood and charcoal are way too messy and stressful to consider, you have a lot of health issues to consider too if you want to use them.
I hear there are always quarrels at the gas station between customers and attendants because some customers complain the gas attendants didn’t top their gas cylinder completely, so the gas station put as sign post, that says customers should check the scale after filing their gas and before they leave the gas station so that they can’t come back and complain later.
That's a picture of Gina feeding on potato peels, they love it a lot.
I feed the rabbits when I came back from the gas station, went to the office, came back home, did some house chores and then had a rest. In the early evening I went for a road walk to clear my head of the days stress.
Thanks for reading my activities and do have a lovely day.
