Good evening steemians,
Wow it's Friday already? Hopefully everyone is celebrating the end of the week and welcoming the weekend! o
Today was quite the gauntlet for me. Today was the last day of work before winter vacation.
Yesterday and today, my subordinates and I brought our pieces of the project together and run all of it at once. It was the moment of truth… I was really optimistic our coding will work the first try and everything will slot into place. We were really hoping to deploy today. We we're out of time.

We started testing yesterday and continued today… and it was massive troubleshooting and discovering short comings, and limitations that didn't exist in the test environments. In a way this was awesome top down development and working with a team and delegating functions. But merging it together is rough. I felt so frustrated and helpless cause of the road blocks we encountered with such a short time frame I'm amazed and proud we got as far as we did. In January we have a few days to work out the kinks but it's not a lot of time.
It was all a rollercoaster of emotions, I was invited to a hangout and a work holiday party but I just wanted to sulk in bed and not be seen by people.
It took many cups of coffee and a few hours to get ready for the gym. Today is the third consecutive days of going to the gym. I was Soo beat up and so stiff from the first two days. Today was lower body. I was glad I made it to the gym cause it helped stretch out the soreness, it helped get rid of my waddle when I walk XD I first started with weights then finished with a mile on the treadmill. My time was horrible! Instead of 15 minutes it was 20 -lesigh- but still managed to complete an hour at the gym.
My mom doesn't understand the health concern and the effect of what I'm eating can affects my body as a whole. I definitely believe eating the right foods will help the body heal and can treat all sorts of things. Just have to give the body a chance and not continue to bombard it with junk.
During the gym I heard some good tunes, another song from Lindsey Stirling celebrating the holidays. It really helped get me in the rhythm and motivated to workout, even dance a little -o- hope you guys enjoy
