Well, got another part of Velotha’s Flock done today.
Working on finals for my classes, so I haven’t been getting as much other stuff done as of late. I may have done a brilliant thing and procrastinated them a little longer than I should have, though they’re both already about two-thirds done.
I’ve also just been a little bit off my game, I think because of either allergies or a really mellow cold.
Getting ready for the weekend’s games is fun (running a playtest of Underbelly tomorrow, then running Degenesis Sunday), but also a little exhausting and I’ll be honest when I say I currently have nothing planned for Underbelly.
Fortunately, I’m an improv master, right?
This statement may or may not be true. Take it with a grain of salt.
Slept in more than I should have this morning, but I’ve just been feeling a little under the weather, as I already mentioned. Haven’t been over-caffeinating, though, and I’ve been sleeping pretty well compared to last week. It could be that I’m also just paying off a sleep deficit.
Really excited to get BIOREAKTOR to a point where it’s playable and fun. I think it has an opportunity to tell stories that feel like big games using a very small framework. That may be hubris, but it might also be true. Working on Underbelly made me think about how you can scale economy up, and that’s my big focus.
