I would like to invite you again to check #stepwithrefugees and see what you can do to help with this movement. Check out https://stepwithrefugees.org/en-ph/.
I have probably bored you already with my past few days' activity of how I keep mentioning our weather, how rainy and how foggy it was for the past five consecutive days I think, but almost a month of rain. I will post photos of some of our roads at the end of this post.
I did not plan on going out today. However, due to the "bed" weather we are having, I wasn't able to do anything yesterday. So, I have to at least make it to 10k today.
I managed to go out and buy a cake for my brother-in-law for today is his birthday. I wanted to go to our fave bakeshop before the quality of their cakes was no longer our liking. So, it was not our favorite anymore. They were closed un/fortunately today because of the holiday so I bought from another bakeshop that I like.
This is mocha cake which I haven't tasted yet from this store and I made a good choice. It tastes good.
My other activities included doing chores, my daily activity and helping with cooking.
This is bilo-bilo or tambong-tambong. It is glutinous rice rolled and molded into bite-size balls then cooked in coconut milk and sugar. Other ingredients include jackfruit, banana, sago and sweet potatoes.
We also made macaroni salad. It looks better than the photo.
I then did half of my count through skipping rope again. I think I'm getting the hang of it.
So here are my photos of some of our roads. Visibility is almost zero at times. It is a must to drive with extra care. Along with the fog rain comes in bursts of mild to strong.
This is how the Balili River looks like when I passed by. Good thing it had not overflowed for a very long time now.
All photos are mine.
This is also my entry to @mermaidvampire's #steemproof daily reward.
