Thailand finally begins to catch up with the rest of the world as all the supermarkets and even 7/11 will stop giving away plastic bags.
About time too as they all give them away like confetti. Not sure whether the general population is ready for this but the rather expensive not plastic bags are already on sale ready for the new year!
Looks like I will be spending Christmas night in a tent before beginning the long ride down to Samui via a night in the beautiful Prachup Khiri Kan for new year with the in-laws! Oh joy....
In other news.....
Wife hit 63kg and she's grumpy as hell.....could be a very very long holiday :-(
