I had a busy day today without much time for computer work. I played 18 baskets of disc golf with my son. It was a wooded course with short throws that required accurate throws between the trees.
I found this flower growing in the forest. I like seeing different types of wildflowers. This one is a little in the danger zone from flying discs but hopefully it will be alright.
Here's another view from a different disc golf course around here. The building way in the background is an old abandoned house. Your not supposed to go in them but I like exploring them sometimes.
One of my son's throws glanced off a tree and went off someplace in the woods. We both searched around for some time for it. I glanced downhill and saw what I thought was the disc and told him to go over and look. It was the right color and shape.
He kept looking where I was pointing and couldn't see it. He told me there was a bottle there. I applogised and told him I wasn't wearing my glasses and it looked like his disc.
We both looked around some more. I finally went over to where the bottle was to get a closer look. There five feet away from the bottle was his disc.
I looked over to him and said, "See I told you your disc was there, that's right where I was pointing."
LOL. I was actually probably pointing at the bottle but he believed me at first. I had to confess that I didn't think it was his disc I was pointing at. (They both looked pretty similar from the distance I was looking - I'm a bit nearsighted)
Oh well, that is why I usually throw my Tobu disc so I don't have to spend as much time looking around or bother wearing my glasses. :D It has a tracker that I can get beeping that comes in really handy on a course like this.
Here's another view of the flower:
