I rode my ebike around thirty miles today. I wanted to get some idea of the range of miles I can ride. The pedal assist goes from settings from one to five with five being the most. On the way out, I rode on pedal assist one or two and one the way back, on three to five. I think I had over half a tank of electrons left when I got home.
I rode triumphantly home the last stretch without even pedaling. The ride was slightly uphill and I was traveling at around seventeen miles an hour burning up nearly 750 watts of pure electric power. LOL.
I love this ebike - it has been keeping me very entertained and active.
As I get to know it better I will gradually try to start increasing my range. I would like to see if I can get forty or fifty miles or more. Pedaling on the pedal assist one or two setting is not much fun though. I would really not like it if the battery was drained completely. The bike can be pedaled just on its own but it is really heavy.
Here's a view of where I turned around:
A nice close-up of the flowers:
Here is one of the country roads that I traveled on:
The smaller roads are much nicer traffic wise but they do go up and down a lot more. This is a much more pleasant area to ride a bike over than some of my other recent rides.
I also did a bit of gardening today and some cleaning.
