I spent some time getting things stored and unloaded after camping and did some disc golfing with my son this evening. I got my new tern disc that I ordered but it came in yellow instead of the red that was pictured on the advertising. There was a note that came with it that said you had to pick a specific color if you want it. Go figure. :( There was no way to indicate a color preference for what I could see. Oh well, I guess yellow is a good enough color but I would have wanted red and I thought that is what I was ordering.
The new disc is pretty stable and it will take some time to get it seasoned in a bit so it flips up like the one I lost. The plastic has a different feel to and is not as grippy. That will change as it wears in so I'm actually really happy with the new disc.
The yellow color is harder to see on the grass around here right now but that will change once it starts raining more regularly again and things green up more. I actually like pink or red for finding discs easy.
Today I scored two over par for the nine basket game. The new disc went right into a tree on a basket where I typically would not be throwing a high speed driver but I wanted to test it out more. At least it did not get stuck there.

It is a very pretty area and we will be camping there again I'm sure. That's it for now - it is getting close to midnight and I need to post this before Actifit has a fit, lol.
