It was pretty cold and rainy again today so I spent most of my time inside doing stuff on the computer and napping. I did get outside in the evening for a short ebike ride.
The raindrops were feeling nice on my face but my glasses were getting wet. It was chilly enough so I decided to cut the ride short. The fenders on the ebike work wonderfully and the light helps on days when the visibility to cars is low.
It seems like the regenerative braking slows the bike down more when the light is on. (This might be just my imagination though.)
I also did a few things around the house like taking my tropical bonsai trees back inside the house. They managed to make it through the summer but they are still not doing real well. This is not the climate for lemon and lime trees but I have kept them alive so far.
Here's a few more photos of the birds that I took yesterday:
They almost look like they are having a conversation here. I wonder what the sparrow could be saying, "No worries old chap, keep your chin up and all that - no more mournful dove songs alrighty?" LOL.
Thoughtful dove thinking, "Every sparrow and his uncle is a music critic nowadays."
It was a nice day for me. There has been some kind of interesting financial news lately. It seems like the Fed keeps putting more cash into the banking system to try to control the short term interest rates that banks use to lend to each other. It doesn't seem to working all that well. I'm not sure I understand what's going on but it is kind of fascinating to read and hear all the news. (Eats popcorn and trades crypto, lol)
