I was going to take it easy today after the long ride and disc golfing yesterday but when I went down to the nearby disc golf course for practice I met a friend. I was just about ready to leave but I was looking for one of the discs that I threw that got lost in the leaves. He helped me find it and we ended up playing a round.
I think we ended up both scoring right at par for the first nine baskets. He wanted to play the back nine too so we did that. I was getting pretty tired by the end of the second set and we didn't end up finishing the last basket. I ended up making an uncharacteristically bad throw and kind of laughed at myself for it. I think he was winning when we both decided it was time to quit.
I ended up trading my Star Shyrke to him for a really nice overstable putter. The Shryke was the nice red colored driver that I recently found. I liked the disc a lot but I have two more Shryke discs and he was missing his drivers. Apparently he had lost his bag of drivers somewhere.
The new C-Line P3X putter flies really nice for me and I'm enjoying it. I like to try out new discs and the plastic on this one has a very nice grippy feel to it. It seems like it might make a good forehand disc but I have not tried it that way yet.
Here's a few different versions of alterations that I did to a photo of a flower that I took this evening:
