My friend and I played the new eighteen basket disc golf course again. We combined effort and got a one over par score using doubles scoring. It was a really nice day although a bit cold in the morning with some frost. When we were playing it had warmed up just a bit.
Here's a couple of pictures that I took of the course:
We had one throw head down towards the river but managed to get it back safely. My friend was throwing my XT Archangel disc which he liked. I let him borrow/have the disc after the round was over.
This disc was one of my favorite control drivers for a while. I don't think they made many in XT plastic it seems out of stock now. I like the grippy feel of the plastic and it has held up really well. It plants where it lands and does not skip on the ground much as compared with some other types of plastic.
I had to get the oil changed on the car so while I waited I went down to a park and practiced my distance drives. The ground was kind of uneven, wet and slippery. I was a bit tired too from the earlier games so the distance was not that great.
I managed to throw my GStar Shryke 310 feet as measured with UDisc. I've thrown farther with a Tern disc before but I have lost all of them. (I do have another one waiting to open for Christmas though)
