It snowed some more last night and I spent the morning shoveling the snow and helping the neighbors. There was not much else to do so I paced around the house for a bit too. I would have kept pacing for longer but my son had a friend over I did not want to disturb them too much.
I took a few different photos of the snow today while changing the color on the porch light and altering things a bit in software:
I like playing with the color in the photos - I think it gives a different kind of feel to them. You can see some of my disc golf discs in the reflection in the window on one of the photos.
Things seem to be melting pretty fast. I think it might be back to rain again in a few days. I kind of like the rain better because I can still do some disc golfing during the rain breaks. With this much snow on the ground it is kind of hard to have a nice game and difficult for me to get to the courses with my e-bike.
The birds have been eating the birdseed from the feeder very quickly. I think there is not as much natural food around for them this time of year. I have been having to fill it almost every other day.
There were some flickers feeding from the feeder yesterday. They usually don't come around the feeder. I almost got some pictures of them but did not get back fast enough with my other camera. (My smartphone really does not have a good enough lens to take bird photography.)
