It was just dry enough this morning to go disc golfing. I rode my e-bike over to the eighteen basket course to meet a friend. While we were warming up another friend joined us and the three of us played a couple rounds of eighteen.
I won the first round and placed in the middle on the second round. The scores were not all that good because... rain, rain, wind, rain, etc. LOL.
By the middle of the second round the tee areas were getting very slippery and muddy. It was a good thing I was wearing my boots. This time of year you really can't wear athletic shoes unless you don't mind wet feet that much.
Here's a picture I took today:
It was raining pretty hard when we were finishing up and the ride home on the e-bike was very wet. I'm glad that I have fenders on the bike but I still got soaked down from all the rain.
The battery and motor on the e-bike worked just fine in the water. I'm really happy with the way the e-bike works. There was some minor flooding on one of the roads and the e-bike went right through it alright. I'm not sure if I would try riding through some deeper water though.
I ordered a new bag and some more discs that should be coming soon. I am switching from a small Innova bag to a larger Prodigy bag the BP-2 V2.
Mostly I wanted some extra space for some more gear and a few more discs. It gets addicting when you get more into the game and have experience with all the different ways that the discs can fly. Sometimes though, I still enjoy playing with just a couple discs when I am just out practicing and I don't need a bag at all then.
