Happy #NeedleWorkMonday lovely people!
I have heard of St. Patrick's Day but do not know what is the celebration about and after checking the web, most of the crochet patterns revolves around the colour green and luck symbols such as the cute 3-leaf or 4-leaf clover, or the shamrock.
I decided to work on a simple project that I can use and I found this cute shamrock pattern:

The pattern starts with a magic circle and working Ch2, 3HDCs, 3DCs, ch1, sl st 1, 3DCs, 3HDCs into the magic circle to form the heart shaped leaf...
... and joined by a slip stitch:
When the magic circle is tightened, we will see the cute heart shape:
And after working 3 heart shaped part of the leaf, we join them by stitching them at the sides following the pattern:
The tails that were left were then braided:
And I am now using my new bookmark ☘ :

A good walk to the office from the carpark and back plus lunch in between. I met up with a friend at work and another friend from uni. We tried non dairy ice cream which was yummers.
