One of my friends was still feeling off and decided to stay home and rest. The other one wanted to walk on the beach.
I took her to the vet end of Mission Beach where boats are coming from the ocean to the bay.
We walked to the main beach and my friend decided to turn around. While walking back to the parking lot, I saw this clever storm wall.
The lifeguard tower is protected by this wall and instead of a boring plain concrete wall, this little village nestles on the foot of the tower.
I love when some beauty is added to functionality!
Later in the day, I took them to the OB Farmer’s market which is famous for all the food options available. My plan was to have dinner there. But I had made fresh pesto for lunch - a late lunch - and my friends weren’t hungry.
