On my walk today it's good to see some greenery still around here after a reasonably hot summer.
Today we had a fire in the hills close by and we could see airplanes and fire trucks moving around to assist in putting it out.
Here in Australia you either stay and defend or get out early and you need to decide which one. Our plan was to get out early, let it all burn lol, so my wife had a few bags packed ready to go if required.
Even this evening we can still see the flashing lights of the fire trucks, it looks like it has all but fizzled out though.
