Normally, my mama and I will go do our grocery run together on Sunday afternoon. She doesn’t drive anymore after the tornado of 4/27/2011 destroyed her home and caused her to have weaker ankles than before (her story is one for the ages and I’ll have to share it here one day). But my mother-in-law is having a birthday get-together on Sunday, so my mama and I had to go to the store today. She wanted to stop by a couple of clothing stores before we went for food. We did that, went to the store, visited my uncle and aunt who were in the hospital for a bit last week, then I got her back home before I headed in.
It was a gorgeous day to do it all, but the wind was very high for some reason.
