Grocery run day with my mama, and we giggled all the way through the store.
We had been talking about how women are going backwards and wearing their pajamas to the grocery store and having hair bonnets on while doing their grocery shopping. It seemed like every time we turned a corner to go to the next aisle, we saw a woman who was in her pajamas!! That is why we were giggling.
And then...it happened.
I stopped dead in my tracks, and Mama almost hit me from behind with the basket. She was like, “Girl, you need to watch yourself!” I then looked at her with that strange look on my face and pointed with my head behind me. She looked and couldn’t believe it either.
Christmas decorations were ALREADY ON THE SHELVES!!! And it isn’t even October yet!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡
Ummm...can we PLEASE wait until November to start with the decoration sales? Close to Thanksgiving is preferable, but I’ll even allow near the beginning of the month.
NOT September!!!
It is way too early for this.
