We went out to dinner tonight with some friends to what turned out to be quite a nice restaurant serving a mix of Thai and Italian fusion food.
Strangely on page 1 of the menu was an Thai version of an English breakfast which for the first time I'd seen had baked beans in then pic. Not exactly Heinz but even so, beans nonetheless.
Also strange because it's neither a tourist or expat area.
Despite me knowing I'd be disappointed I ordered it anyway and emphasised baked beans as opposed to the other option of chick peas.
Well...the meal wasn't too bad with a nice smokey frankfurter and extremely perfect crunchy bacon and sweet little grape tomatoes but I have never seen such a tiny portion of beans and they hadn't been cooked! Straight out of the tin and cold.

In other news.......
Gave the bike it's first wash today after the funeral trip to the middle of nowhere and if anyone has tips for removing baked on squashed bugs I'd be grateful.
